So, last month I was bemoaning the speed of passing time. I dare not do that again!! LOL! But I can “bemoan” how busy our schedule has been in our office. I feel like we’re already through November, and at the time of this writing, we haven’t even finished September!!!

Turn the page to my Out & About column and you’ll get a hint of what’s been going on. You’ll be introduced to two great education resources, Gideon Math & Reading Center and Keystone Freedom Academy. Director, Janine Mathesz, gave me the lowdown, and all I can say is “how lucky we are” to have these resources available for our children. Turn to page 6 for details.

And a special Thank You! to George from Tom Sawyer Tire and Auto Repair. More on page 9.

Please check out our business cards on page 32 and 33. You’ll find some terrific resources for housecleaning, repair work, electrical work and more. Like most of our advertisers, these are independently owned businesses providing personalized service with a smile. And we like smiles!! They’ll appreciate your support.

Good news! The Sensitive Chef re-visits our book on page 22. Chef Meaghan ran down this month’s menu and it all sounded a bit exotic… but doable. It’s worth reviewing. And remember, her recipes are digestion-friendly!!

Yes, there’s more. Quite a few festivals happening this month and next. It IS the season for celebrating. We’ve got you covered. And we remind you, it’s time to check out your insurance needs for updating. Insurance Shops is at the ready with help.

Hard to believe, but I think Santa will arrive next month. Yikes! You might see him between our covers. Here’s hoping!!! We could use an early present or two!!! In the meantime, happy reading and watch out for the candy this month!! See you in November!!!
