Yup! it’s sandwich time at school, the stadium, in the car travelling, after the football practice, anywhere and almost anytime, we crave that “sandwich” to stave off our hunger. We thought we’d ask some questions and see if you knew a bit more about that “thing” you’re eating. And yes, we offer some sandwich recipes to address that craving welling up from your stomach!!! MIDDLE EASTERN TUNA SANDWICH
Mix 3-oz. can tuna (drained) with 1 Tbsp. each tahini, lemon juice and olive oil, ¼ C. chopped red bell pepper and 1 chopped scallion. Fill a pita pocket with the tuna salad, add some shredded cabbage drizzled with lemon juice and olive oil.


CHICKEN W/BLACK BEANS
Mix ½ C. chopped grilled chicken, ¼ C. each canned black beans (drained and rinsed) and chopped mango and 2 Tbsp. each salsa and cilantro. Season with salt. roll up in flour tortilla.
